Where do I start! I found your website when I was asked to view the 'media that matters' website and watched the documentary 'A girl like me'. What you have created here is refreshing and is a long time due. Well done! I wrote an academic paper as part of my Master's Degree which touched on this issue titled 'The Portrayal of Black People in Television Advertising'in the UK. It found that YES! young black children and people are subconsciously affected by advertising and the stereotypical images it omits. Your products and services will no doubt allow 'our children' to love themselves and see how beautiful they are. I’ll have to come and see you when on my next visit to Georgia!

Congratulations once again!

Blessings

Today we celebrated my daughter Maya's 1st Birthday. We used the Amira Princess items we purchased from your site. I also gave each little girl the Jump at the Sun Cinderella book. Everyone loved it! We actually just returned from Disneyworld with all of our children (Maya plus her 3 older brothers) and there were no princes or princesses who looked like them. It was wonderful to have a party where we could have magical reflections of our beautiful children. Thank you for helping with this. I pray continued blessings over Mya's Place. We will always use this site and share it with others!

Tammy you followed your heart. You listened to and obeyed the voice within. I am So Proud of You. I was excited from day one when you began to share your ideas and dreams with me. I knew from the first conversation that your vision would happen. With God leaading you all the way, you have done an Amazing Job. All of the pieces are falling in place. You are soaring. Look at all of the Doors/Rooms in MYA'S PLACE that God has opened. All of this lived within you. It is what you said it would be and more. You are on your way. I will continue to spread the word about your business and if I can do more just let me know.

I think this site is perfect. A friend sent me the link because I have a 7yr old daughter named Mya and she thought she would get a kick out of it. Well she feels like she now has her own web site and we will definitely make orders in the future. Love the site.

P.S. She was named after Dr.Maya Angelou as well. "I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings" was the first book I ever read, changed my life.

This website is wonderful!! As an educator of mostly African Americans and mother of a son, I too try to find books, games, and other 'things' that these kids can relate to. Keep up the good work!!

Dear Ms. Corley-White, Let me first say that your web site is awesome!!! I too have a business called Neena's Creations which features unusual gifts created by me; with a line of children products. You have inspired me to change my line of products and aim totally for the Black children in my creations. Thank you so much for what you've done for our future generation - as well as for my grandchildren. I will be using your site to make purchases for special occassions for them. Keep up the good work, and may God bless you!

I have always known you were creative and brilliant! I LOVE your site, but mostly your products! Good luck. It is so evident that God is working in your life and that you have a special gift of passing this on to others! Selfishly ... I MISS YOU!!! Love to you and your SPECIAL family!! I retire this year, so I hope to finally make time to come meet your sweet mom and dad! Love you! Sheryl Ferguson

Tammy, It took this long for me to write in your guest book because I get so emotional when thinking about you and your accomplishments. We have been best friends for 31 years and words cannot express how proud I am of you. Walking out on faith to pursue your dream and passion is very heroic and demonstrates all of what GOD promotes. We talk all the time and say this saying often, “Faith without work is dead”. You have worked your butt off and walked out on faith, so sit back and enjoy your results. I love you girl and if you need anything my S4L (sistah 4 life), let me know. I am always here!!

Love you much Your S4L Cori
